Call for experts: FinCEAL Plus co-organizes China-Finland Co-creating New Solutions for Education and Health - seminar in Beijing, China on 9th October 2017
UniPID - Finnish University Partnership for International Development / FinCEAL Plus, China - Finland Strategic ICT Alliance and Beijing Normal University - Sino-Finnish Joint Learning Innovation Institute (JoLII) are organizing a high-level, bi-regional research seminar focusing on Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation in Health and Education in Beijing, China 9th October 2017. We are now inviting experts from Finnish universities and research institutions to express their interest in joining the Finnish expert delegation to the event.

Strategic ICT Alliance and Beijing Normal University - Sino-Finnish Joint Learning Innovation Institute (JoLII) are organizing a high-level, bi-regional research
seminar focusing on Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation in Health
and Education in Beijing, China 9th October 2017.
The seminar is supported by Team Finland, Ministry of Education and Culture,
Embassy of Finland in China, as well as other relevant entities from China and
Finland.
The seminar invites experts on Health Technologies and ICT in Education and
related areas from industry and academia, as well as Government representatives
and other stakeholders from China and Finland to present and discuss about key
health technologies and ICT in Education research aspects. The seminar aims to
provide a platform for developing concrete joint innovation and research
cooperation initiatives.
The objectives of the Seminar are to:
- Provide a space for different stakeholders to share their expertise and experiences related to key topics;
- Discover untapped opportunities for cooperation and establish new partnerships in Science, Technology and Innovation between the two regions;
- Identify and highlight current successful practices for mutual learning;
- Strengthen the participation of the private sector from both regions in STI partnerships; as well as
- Identify new business opportunities and incentivize long term win-win commercial relations and formation of concrete new projects.
We are now inviting experts from Finnish universities and research institutions
to express their interest in joining the Finnish expert delegation to the
event. Please contact FinCEAL Plus Asia Project Coordinator Jarkko Mutanen
(Jarkko.Mutanen(at)uef.fi) with a brief description of your expertise in the
field of health and ICT in Education and previous experience and/or current
interest in STI cooperation with China. The deadline of this call is 31.8.2017.
The selected experts will be notified by 1.9.2017.
