March 1, 2019

The Finnish University Partnership for International Development – UniPID is hereby inviting interested course teachers and lecturers from UniPID member universities to submit course proposals for the UniPID Virtual Studies programme.

Virtual Studies Call for Course Proposals 2019

The 2019 Call for Proposals aims to fund courses that contribute to and expand the themes and overall offering of UniPID's Virtual Studies module. This call is divided into three parts:

  • Proposals for new courses that focus on global development issues. In this call, special attention is given to proposals that address the role of education in sustainable social development.

  • Applications for update funding for existing UniPID courses.

The applicants are required to specify which category of funding they are applying for.

Funding

  • A sum of up to 6 500 € per course is available from UniPID for the creation and provision of a course that has not been offered as a part of the UniPID curriculum before.
  • A sum of up to 4 500 € per course is available from UniPID for the updating of a course that has been offered at least three times as a part of the UniPID Virtual Studies curriculum and which does not currently have an effective course contract.

The courses funded under this call should be aimed to be offered for the first time during the academic year 2019-2020.

The deadline for proposals is 31 March 2019 at 23:59. Applicants can expect to receive the results in June.
