FinCEAL-Africa calls for applications for those wishing to attend the IST-Africa conference from May 6- 9th, 2014 in Mauritius. The application period is open from March 19th to March 31st. http://www.ist-africa.org/conference2014/This Call is only open to Individuals from Finnish based research institutions (Universities, Universities of Applied Science, Independent Research Institutions) and will only focus funding to those working in these 4-key areas
1. ICT (especially targeting any of the Africa themes e.g eHealth)
2. Living Labs/Open Innovation
3. Technology-enhanced Learning, mLearning, ICT Skills
4. eInfrastructures

The aim of this funding is to facilitate the participation of researchers to the event so as to:
•Build new networks for research collaboration,
•Partnerships for technology and innovation transfer and
•Show-case Finnish expertise in the areas relevant to the event.
This call is specifically targeting and open to:
•Individuals actively involved in carrying out a project with African partners in any or all of the 4-key areas
•Individuals actively involved in carrying out a project with any or all of the 4 key areas and seeking to for African partners to further expand their work
