Launch webinar: GLOBUS project. Held in March 2026, the GLOBUS project launch webinar welcomed the general public to learn about the project, its objectives, and its expected outcomes. During the event, UniPID and the Southern African–Nordic Centre (SANORD) were introduced as the coordinating networks behind the initiative.

Additionally, the International Education and Partnerships Directorate of the Durban University of Technology (DUT) presented the COIL methodology as an innovative, curriculum-integrated approach that connects lecturers and students across institutions and countries through structured virtual collaboration. The COIL presentation emphasized the methodology’s role as a key tool for fostering more equitable, sustainable, and impactful global partnerships in virtual education—particularly within the field of global sustainable development.
